In 1948, Harrington’s Bus Service began operating from it's base at Ardgroom Post Office. It was established by Dan R Harrington as part of a wider hackney service and continues to remain part of our family business.
Beara-Cork Bus Service
Our round trip route of Beara to Cork commutes daily with an exception to Thursdays.
The bus departs from Castletownbere, opposite SuperValu, at 08:00 weekdays and 17:00 on Sundays.
The bus returns from Parnell Place in Cork City, behind Bus Eireann Bus Station, at 18:00 sharp weekdays and at 19.30 on Sundays.
Journey time is approximately 2 hours.
